The St. Gerard Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul serves individuals and families in Edgewater, Oak Hill and New Smyrna Beach, Florida who are going through a hard time — with food, help on a bill, and a visit from people who care.

How We Help
Food Assistance
Our food pantry provides groceries and non-perishable food to households that need them. If you cannot get to us, call — delivery may be possible.
Rent & Utility Assistance
When a bill threatens a shutoff or an eviction, we may be able to help with part of it. Assistance is limited and offered as funds allow.
Home Visits
Two Vincentians will visit you, listen to your situation, and work with you on what would help most. This is the heart of what we do.
Referrals
When a need is beyond what we can meet, we connect you with parish, county, and community programs that can.

Who We Are
We are a group of Catholic lay volunteers, called Vincentians, based at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Edgewater. Our conference is part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, an international charity that has served people in need since 1833.
We help anyone in our area who asks, regardless of faith or background. Everything you share with us is kept confidential, and every dollar given to our conference is used locally, for our own neighbors.
